This guide will help you apply to roles and manage your applications.

It covers the application process, including any screening questions, as well as how to view and track the status of your applications.

About the Role

The Director of Development will lead all fundraising activities for the organization, including major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grant writing, and annual fund campaigns.

Screening Questions#

Some listings include screening questions. You must answer them before proceeding with your application:

If you are screened out based on your answers, your application will show "Screening failed", and you can view the feedback:

Application Form#

The application form includes sections to verify your name & email address, upload files to share with the employer (e.g. resume, cover letter, CV), and enter a statement or additional details with formatting controls (bold, italic, lists, links).

If you need to finish your application later, click Save Draft:

Drafts are not visible to the employer. You can edit or delete them at any time. Only when you click "Submit" will your application be sent to the employer for review.

After submitting, your application status will show as Submitted. You can make changes and re-submit at any time, which will notify the employer that your application has been updated.

Submit or Edit a Draft#

Your drafts are saved under "Drafts" in Applications:

Remove / Delete an Application#

Applications can be removed (retracted from employer) by clicking the trash can icon.

You'll be asked to confirm removal. Once confirmed, your application will be deleted and no longer visible to the employer. You may resubmit later:

Removing or deleting your application will not notify the employer, and the employer will no longer have access to your application.

Roles with External Applications#

Some listings direct you to apply on an external website. When you click Apply (External) on these listings, you'll see a confirmation before being redirected to the external site (in a new tab / window):

Clicking Continue to External Site will open a URL provided by the employer in a new tab.

Our support team cannot help you with external applications / URLs, but please let us know if an external URL doesn't work so we can help the employer correct it.

Navigate to Applications to view and manage all of your submitted and draft applications.
