Setup an Account (for Employers & Recruiters)

This guide will help you create an account as an employer or recruiter.

It covers login / new accounts, including email verification and password setup, as well as how to initially set your notification preferences.

Quick Reference: Setup an Account

  1. Use Switch to Employer (in header or navigation)
  2. Enter your email address and Continue
  3. Check your email for a verification code and enter it
  4. (optional) Set your password and Continue
  5. Enter your name and Continue

Password requirements:

  • At least 10 characters
  • Contains at least one letter
  • Contains at least one number
  • Passwords match

Session security: When you change your password, all other active sessions are automatically signed out. You will remain signed in on the device where you changed the password.

Enter your full legal name, preferred name (optional), and pronouns (optional), then click Continue:

To avoid delays when creating listings, use your official legal name. This helps our team verify the authenticity of employers and their listings. Your name is kept private and is not visible to candidates.

Once logged in, you can manage your account from the "Account" menu in the header:

How do I change my password?

Navigate to Account → Change Password. You'll first need to verify your identity — click Send Verification Code to receive a code at your email address. Enter the code, then set your new password and click Save:

How do I manage my email addresses?

Navigate to Account → Edit Email Addresses. You can add additional email addresses to use for login and notifications, and remove any email addresses you no longer want associated with your account:

You cannot remove the primary email address from your account.

How do I change my notification preferences?

Navigate to Account → Notifications. You can choose whether to receive our newsletter and job market updates, and select which verified email address should receive application notifications:

You may configure each listing with different notification recipients. To change your notifications about listings, please review your .
